The wine cellar is located in the sun-drenched lap of the Vipava Valley, where the vineyards enjoy excellent terroir, which gives the wines a recognizable aroma, freshness and character.

Wine tastings in Vipava at Vina Kodele are intended for everyone who wants to get to know authentic wines made from quality grapes of selected varieties, and at the same time experience the story of vineyards that grow in one of the most respected wine-growing areas in Slovenia. Tastings are held by appointment all days of the week (Monday-Sunday), which allows great flexibility for individuals, families, groups of friends or organized visits.

Wine tastings in Vipava are carried out in several forms, depending on the wishes and number of visitors.

• Tastings with cold cuts are available by prior arrangement and are suitable for groups of 10 to 15 people, and by arrangement for larger groups of up to 30 people.

• For smaller groups, tastings are possible from a minimum of 4 people, but if the appointment is not announced in advance, the tasting takes place without cold cuts.

If ordered in advance, the tasting is accompanied by cold cuts of homemade dried meat and local cheeses, which go perfectly with the aromas of the wines. Such a combination allows visitors to experience wine in the true context of Vipava cuisine.

The Vina Kodele cellar produces a wide range of white and red wines. White wines include:

• Pinela (an indigenous variety of the Vipava Valley),

Most of the Vina Kodele production is sold as open wine in the home cellar and at additional locations across Slovenia, while some of the wines are bottled as bottled wines intended for more demanding wine lovers and tastings.
