Allow us to invite you and introduce you to the Tourist Association Štatenberg.

Our tourist association was founded in 2008, with great dedication to promoting the picturesque town of Štatenberg, the municipality of Makole and the beautiful Dravinjska Valley and Haloze. Our main task is to preserve and share the rich history and beauty of these places with visitors, whom we want to impress with pleasant experiences.

Our tourist information office operates at the baroque Štatenberg castle, which boasts exceptional architecture and historical value. Here we kindly welcome all visitors, lead tours, and take care of the maintenance of this precious gem.

A walk through the castle and its gardens takes you to times of elegance and sophistication, where you can feel the spirit of the past.

A special place in our story belongs to the Bernadek homestead, which is only two kilometers away from the castle. This more than 200-year-old homestead is a true treasure of traditional rural life. Through a fictional story, we show you how people once lived, worked and created. Every corner of the homestead is authentic and tells a story of simplicity, perseverance and connection with tradition.

In addition to the aforementioned attractions, it is also worth visiting the Šega Mine, Kavkler's Cellar, the Dvoršak Gallery, Forma viva Makole, which is a 10 km long cultural trail with more than 160 sculptures, the Church of St. Andrew, numerous rivers, the Šoštarica Waterfall, Belojača Cave, .Landscape Park

In addition, we organize numerous events every year that enliven our place and bring people together. Among them is the popular Miklavževanje and the lively carnival, where joy comes to life and a spark lights up in the eyes of all generations.

We are constantly accepting new members who want to contribute to our goals and co-create the future of Štatenberg.
