At Alice in Waterland in Izola, we have been providing complete sailing trip organization on the Slovenian Coast, in Slovenia and across the Adriatic since 2020. We are a family team consisting of Federica Minghelli, Damjan Rožnik and our daughter Alice, after whom our sailing boat is named.

We organize sunset dinners, day sailing trips and multi-day cruises, with families and children especially welcome on board.

Prices start at €70 per person for a 4-hour sunset sailing trip with dinner, while longer programs are available from €100 per person or from €1,000 per cabin.

Our goal is to offer guests a relaxed and carefree sailing experience. Depending on the selected program, we can take care of:

Sailing trip from Izola across the Adriatic

Our complete sailing trip organization on the Slovenian Coast, in Slovenia and across the Adriatic includes several different options.

The 4-hour sunset dinner sailing trip usually takes place between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM and is intended for groups of 2 to 8 people. It includes sailing, swimming, dinner, water, coffee and snacks, with prices starting at €70 per person.

For a longer day at sea, you can choose an 8-hour day sailing trip along the Slovenian Coast, usually planned between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It is suitable for 2–8 people and also includes lunch. Prices start at €100 per person.

For a multi-day experience, we offer a 3-day/2-night mini cruise from €1,000 per cabin and a 6-day sailing cruise through Istria with a visit to Brijuni from €2,000 per cabin.

Guests can choose from 3 cabins with double beds, one of which can be converted into a twin-bed cabin. For multi-day programs, you can choose between cabin rental and exclusive yacht charter.

Family sailing trip Slovenian Coast, Slovenia, Adriatic

Alice in Waterland was created from the desire to make sailing more accessible to families with children. The sailing boat is equipped with a safety net, life jackets for adults and children, life rings and life rafts. Guests can also use a kayak, SUP board and other equipment for enjoying time on the water.

Our Gib Sea 51 sailing boat is 14.90 metres long and features three guest cabins and three bathrooms. On board you will also find a kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, Wi-Fi, navigation equipment and sunbathing cushions.

For multi-day programs, the No Worries package is especially convenient. Before your arrival, we prepare the cabins and take care of the necessary shopping. During booking, we also check your dietary preferences. We take care of navigation and logistics, so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.

Behind our project is a genuine love of the sea and extensive nautical experience. Federica is a marine biologist with many years of experience on different vessels, while Damjan is a navigation technician who spent several years working on a large yacht.

From every service sold, we donate 1% to the Morigenos Society, and through the organization One Tree Planted, we plant a tree.

We also offer gift vouchers in values ranging from €20 to €800, making them a great gift idea for anyone who enjoys the sea, sailing and memorable experiences.

Prices range from €70 per person for a sunset dinner sailing trip to €2,000 per cabin for a longer cruise through Istria. For multi-day programs, tourist taxes, drinks and other services not included in the selected package may be charged separately.
